OUR STORY
We are Bea and Guido - the faces behind The New Old, a collective of destination wedding photographers and videographers with a team based across Europe and Australia.
We didn’t choose the name by accident. The New Old reflects everything about our style and our approach: a blend of modern, loose editorial infused with a touch of nostalgia. You’ll always find our film cameras and Super 8 close by as love bringing this vintage look to your wedding day.
Before creating The New Old, we came from very different professional paths - engineering, fashion, project management, and everything in between but our creative nature eventually led the way.
We’re incredibly grateful to do what we love - and even more grateful that we get to do it together.
We document all forms of celebrations - from intimate destination weddings to multi-day events. No matter the scale, our role remains the same: to observe quietly and create photographs and films that will stand the test of time and be forever treasured.
The most important thing to us is that you have the most stress free, enjoyable day possible. We aim to capture the excitement, little moments and emotions of the day naturally and beautifully.

Bea Tarasiuk
Photographer
Besides running The New Old, Bea is also a fashion stylist - and that’s actually how her photography journey began, shooting editorials and creative projects.
Her background, though, looked completely different at first. She studied civil and environmental engineering and ended up working in corporate as an IT project manager. After a few years, she realised it just wasn’t the life she wanted. So in 2016, she quit her job, bought a one-way ticket to Asia, and travelled for almost a year. That trip made everything clear: photography was what she truly loved.
A year later, she moved to Australia without knowing anyone. The first months were tough, but she slowly found her people - and more importantly met the love of her life.
Bea started out doing fashion consulting and shooting editorials, but over time her focus naturally shifted to weddings, where she could mix her love of style, storytelling, and real emotions.
She loves traveling, vintage clothes, is completely obsessed with Paris, and her day doesn’t officially start until she’s had her almond cappuccino. And if you ever want to talk about the latest wedding or fashion trends, she’ll happily chat for hours.
In her free time, she loves going to BodyPump and Pilates classes, and this year she’s also fallen in love with barre and even started ballet.

Guido Pezz
Photographer / CinematographerGuido is a director, cinematographer and photographer with a background that bridges engineering precision and artistic instinct. Originally trained as a civil engineer, he left that path years ago to fully pursue visual storytelling - a passion rooted in his childhood.
Growing up around his father’s film and photography business, Guido was immersed in cameras from an early age. What began as curiosity evolved into a lifelong vocation.
Besides weddings, he directs and shoots documentaries and commercials, combining technical discipline with an intuitive, human approach to storytelling. His work has received multiple Vimeo Staff Picks and is driven by a strong sense of authenticity, rhythm, and light.
A lover of analog craft, Guido completed a 16mm and 35mm motion picture masterclass at the ASC (American Society of Cinematographers) in Los Angeles, further refining his understanding of film as both a technical discipline and an artistic language.
Beyond commissioned work, he is drawn to street photography and documenting everyday life, capturing honest moments that often go unnoticed.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, he works internationally and feels at home across cultures. When he’s not behind the camera, you’ll likely find him traveling, playing football, or spending time with dogs :)
